Drew’s Blanket: A quick update
Hey! Sorry I know its been a bit since I last posted, but I’ve been busy. I’ve put a nice dent into Drew’s Blanket, gone through at least one (out of three) skeins of yarn of each color. I was finally able to come up with a pattern that I felt fit his personality and I felt worked.
I do one row of sc in the back loops and then in the same color do a row of 1/2 double crochet in the back loops. It gives it a neat layered look on one side and a stripe look on the other. I was very pleased with that discovery. So I’ve decided that should I ever make another blanket with the same pattern it will be the “Drew Blanket” pattern. Same goes for the blanket I made for my best friend. The “Miss Caitlyn Blanket”. Okay so back to work! I’ll post again soon!
Drew’s Blanket: Drowning in Yarn
Okay, so the story starts, that I made a blanket for my best friend and when her boyfriend (who’s aslo a good friend) started to “steal” it, I offered to make him one. Soo, yesterday I made it out to Joanne’s to pick up the yarn needed.
